With clean hands, lightly sweep both palms in smooth motion over your face to remove extra foundation. **Don't rub at your skin; that way you will wipe off sections of base, therefore you will have to restart.**
But if sweeping doesn't do the trick, PRESS a piece of tissue over your face to absorb excess product, be sure to use makeup sponge to soften lines of demarcation on your face and neck.
